choice

we do not have the power to choose when we die (most of the time) or how we die but we do have the power to choose how we live

now IS the perfect time

What if you know somewhere in front of you was a moment that would change your life forever, a moment rich with potential, a moment filled with endless possibilities?'
..Somehow we all know that to play it safe is to lose the game...Moments are as numerous as the stars in the sky..within those mmonets a handful will become the defining moments in your life. However mundane a moment may appear, the miraculous may wait to be unwrapped within it. You rarely know the up front the eternal significance of a moment. When a moment is missed, you have a glimpse at an opportunity lost. When you dream, you look to a moment still to come. Yet the only moment that you must take responsibility for right now is the one in front of you. This is your moment. Your challenge is not seizing divine moments, but seizing your divine moment..
One of the reasons that we are unprepared for the moment before us is that we're stuck in a moment behind us..While moments are the context within which we live, choices chart the course and determine the destination..'

The Power of One

"I am only one, but still I am one.
I cannot do everything, but still I can do something;
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."

complete abandonment

Because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, i will..make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky..because you have obeyed me (Gen 22:16-18)
From the time of Abraham, people have been learning that when they obey God's voice and surrender to Him whatever they hold most precious, He multiplies it thousands of times. Abraham gave up his one and only son at the Lord's command, and in doing so, all his desires and dreams for Isaac's life ,as well as his own for a notable heritage, disappeared. Yet God restored Isaac to his father and Abraham's family because 'as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sky and as the sand on the seashore'..And through his descendant, 'when the time had fully come, God sent his Son (Gal 4:4)
This is exactly how God deals with every child of His when we truly sacrifice. We surrender everything we own and accept poverty-then He sends wealth. We leave a growing area of ministry at His command-then He provides one better than we had ever dreamed. We surrender all our cherished hopes and die to self-then He sends overflowing joy and His 'life..that we might have it more abundantly'(John 10:10)
Do we believe that Abraham's experience was unique and isolated? It is only an example and a pattern of how God deals with those who are prepared to obey Him whatever the cost. After waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised (Heb 6:15). The moment of our greatest sacrifice will also be the precise moment of your greatest and most miraculous blessing. There is nothing God will not do for those who will dare to step out in faith onto what appears to be only a mist. As we take our first step, we'll find a rock beneath our feet.

The 5-Letter F-word

Chokolait 510pm Tuesday
S: So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised..We are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. (Heb10)

O: Faith is being sure of what we hope for, certain of what we do not see. By faith, we understand that the universe was formed. By faith Abel offerend God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith Noah in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By faith, Abraham when called to go to a place he would later as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

A: What a man of faith Abraham was, he obeyed and went, and held on to God's promises. It is through these times i choose to hold on to that small seed of faith which i have tucked away somewhere. I choose to hold hope and not shrink back. As i continue to walk in the will of God in faith, i nurture that small mustard seed of faith.

P: God its going to be ok right? I've availed myself to you all this while and i do not throw away my confidence in you. I do not do it just because of the reward i'll get but because i know You are faithful because you said so.
