Lord we do not like suffering. But your word tells us that suffering builds our endurance. If we just stick to the task, we can overcome. Finishing the task builds our character. And when we have character we will have hope. Thank you for that hope.

We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverence; perseverence, character; and character, hope.

flashbacks and not-so-fond memories of vce days. it was surreal to be present to these lives 9 years later which were once shared in the same compound every weekday for my 2 years in high school with them. that time has come. people come (with much delight) & people go. some have changed quite dramatically, some the same. a meaningful night.

so i went to see liz & g-rad at the fringe festival last week. reminded me of primary school where we'd sing these songs out in the playground at lunchtime or in class. memories. its such a powerful thing. i was completely inspired by the way the choreography worked with the simplicity of the performance expressing itself into song and contemporary dance. innovative! well done lizzie!!
