S:
Against all hope Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him..he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthening in his his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised (Romans4)

O:
Faith comes from hearing the Word. God's promises come by faith. It was by faith that Abraham held on to the future that he would one day be the father of ALL nations. Him being nearly 100 years old and Sara 90 years old at that time when God reassured His promises for him, Abram laughted mockingly at the possibility that it could actually come to pass. (Gen 17:17) 'If only..' Abraham comments..

A:
Grey seasons. Hope against hope. That's when i know i can only trust God and nothing else because there's nothing to hold on to. Faith is strengthened through trials coz that's when God allows us to exercise what we believe and hope for to move forward into the future. All God called Abraham to was to believe.

P:
Promise-keeper. Faithful one. Against all hope in the natural, i trust in You again. A real toil emotionally, my mind games, my heart capacity to want to do the right thing, i believe your calling me out of my place of unbelief. Your Word says that hope does not disappoint. Your Word says that love keeps no record of wrong, that love never fails. My life is secure in your hands today.
